Illegal Immigrants Do Get Some Medicaid, But BBB Puts It All on States

During the broadcast of Thursday of “Cuomo” of Newsnation, the representative Ro Khanna (D-CA) responded to the arguments according to which illegal immigrants obtain Medicaid by saying that this refers when illegal immigrants arise in an emergency room and that the state pays it, but that reconciliation invoices “essentially melted”.
Representative Randy Fine (R-FL) said: “The bill reduced Medicaid … for illegal immigrants. Now, if they mean that illegal immigrants should get Medicaid, they should just make this argument. ”
After the host, Chris Cuomo, cut to say: “But they don’t get federal money.” Fine replied: “They do it. 1.4 – This same analysis that you referenced said that 1.4 million illegal immigrants get Medicaid.”
Khanna then countered: “What we are talking about is that a undocumented person presents himself in an emergency room in a hospital. The state takes care of it. Now, you, in the bill, does not cut it. What you take is that the refund goes from 90% to 50%. I think most people in this country believe that if someone shows the station, the doctor must treat them. It, you don’t zero it.
