‘Imginn’ Lets You Browse Instagram Without an Account

There are all kinds of reasons not to have an Instagram account, from a general aversion to social media to a particular aversion of meta. But there is also often information about Instagram that you cannot find anywhere else – a nearby store could list their alternative hours on the site.
Instagram himself is quite aggressive to force you to connect if you want to read such things, with contextual windows that tell you to register to see more. You can close the initial contextual window to browse the first images, but that does not allow you to click on an image or read the legend, which is (boring) where the information you want probably hide.
This is where the Imginn website comes into play. This free site supported by advertising allows you to browse any public instagram page, without Instagram account. To start, go to the home page and type the name of the account you want to travel. You will see a list of results. Click on the account you want to see and you can browse the contents of your heart.

Click on any image or video and you can see it in full resolution, read the legend and even download the media.
The site does not stop with image and video publications – you can also use it to cover the stories pinned and current. These are the two things that you generally cannot see at all without connecting. The coils are also supported.
What do you think so far?
Is it useful if you already have an Instagram account? Especially no, although it is nice to be able to download images, videos and even stories – this is something for which you need special tools for otherwise.
For me, however, the main use for Imginn is these moments when I must quickly check something that is otherwise behind the enclosed garden of Instagram without being sucked in the rest of the ecosystem. It’s perfect for people who don’t – and don’t want – an Instagram account.
