‘The Dam Is Breaking’ — Trump Is Losing Control of GOP
On CNN’s “The Source” Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said President Donald Trump is losing control of the Republican Party.
Greene said, “I want to point out something. Last week, and I think the dam is breaking, many Republicans may not have denounced it, but last week, 13 Republicans voted with Democrats to overturn one of President Trump’s executive orders, which allowed him to lay off federal employees. We also saw Republicans in Indiana vote against redistricting. He did not qualify none of them traitors or called for primaries against them, but I would like to say that it is a sign where you are Seeing the Republicans, they are entering the campaign phase for 2026, which is a strong signal that the lame duck season has begun and that the Republicans are going to do everything possible to save their own re-election.
