Infinidesk Is a Mac App That Lets You Create As Many Virtual Desktops As You Want

I like to use my computer’s office as I use my physical office – somewhere to place documents and photos related to what I am currently working on. The problem is that I generally work on several projects, which means that my computer desk is a waste of unrelated things.
Say that I sell my old MacBook but that I also organize important photos of chat for my newsletter – which takes a lot of space, and I don’t need to see all of these photos all Time. Wouldn’t it be better that I could change what things appear on my desk according to my current project?
This is the idea behind Infinidesk, an independent Mac application of the developer Ben Shirt-Ediss which allows you to create as much virtual desk as you wish and to switch between the menu bar.

The idea behind Infinidesk is that you will do different office computers for different projects, allowing you to use your office as a workspace for each of them. It is not at all like the native mission control of your Mac – it does not affect the windows you have opened. The objective, instead, is simply on visible icons on your desk. You can create as much different desktops as you need. When you create a new office, all your current icons disappear, allowing you to add new ones. When you switch between office computers, all your icons will disappear and reappear accordingly.
What do you think so far?
It is a simple concept, and it will not be useful for everyone – alone of us even uses our desktop computers to store files at this stage, and you may already have your own system to keep things organized. But if your office becomes uncontrollable, Infinidesk could help you keep things tidy without making the office useless in the process, especially if you have a computer for work and personal use.
Infinidesk offers a free version, with a socket: you can only change office computers 50 times. This should be enough for you to have an idea of if this application is useful to you. The full version costs $ 12.99, as a single payment.
