Android users can now modify images on Google Photos with their voice or with a text input, one of the best new AI features of the Google Pixel 10 smartphone.

The functionality, which was launched earlier this year exclusively on Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, is an incredibly impressive use of AI which allows users to completely change the appearance of their photos simply by speaking to their device.

Google says that Android users “eligible” will now have an option to “help me modify” in the Google Photos application. The information on which is eligible is rare, but for the moment, this new feature is only available for Android users in the United States.

According to Google’s press release announcing the update, users just need to “press”, help me edit “in the publisher, describe what you want to change and voila, the photos take care for you – with a little help of the advanced Gemini capacities.”

Given that this AA publishing function was one of the main sales arguments of the new Google Pixel range of smartphones, it is very exciting to see the deployment of the tool on more Android devices.

If the previous features are something to do, iOS users could soon be able to use this publishing function in the Google Photos application, as was the case with the Google mactor.

The magic of AI

Being able to modify photos using only your voice or entering the text of the natural language could be the future of image editing. In fact, I am such a fan of this feature that I was seriously tempted to go from my iPhone to a Pixel 10 when Google initially unveiled the new smartphone.

In the end, I decided to stick to my iPhone, but now that Android users are starting to access this excellent feature powered by Gemini, I cross my fingers that iPhone users are next to it to experience it.

Although iPhone users cannot access this new feature in Google Photos to date, the impressive Nano Banana AI Image Generator of Google is excellent in photo editing and available in the Gemini application.

With Apple’s image image, the playing field should get support for the third -party images generator in the future, who will know what will come first: Nano Banana or this Google’s Google function function?
