Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Breitbart News on Wednesday in an exclusive interview that anti-Semitism that increased on political right is not only anti-Israeli, but anti-American and anti-top.

Netanyahu addressed the problem he called the “awakened right”, which appeared as some conservative experts – including some who had once supported Israel – opposed Israel in the “12 -day war” against Iran, as well as any American involvement alongside Israel.

The question occurred in a discussion on anti -Semitism, which has become familiar on the left in recent years, and resurfaced on the right:

Breitbart News: Anti-Semitism has increased in the world, and many of us used to see it on the far left, but now it also seems to rise to the right-and not only from traditional right sources, the neo-Nazi fringe and so on, but there are in the United States, certain popular conservative commentators who seem to have driven in this direction. Where does it come from? Is it based on foreign influence? Is it religiously based, in one way or another? Where do you think, and how do you stop it from?

Netanyahu: There has been a lot of foreign influence in the past two decades. There were NGOs [non-governmental organizations] Of various corners,… mainly in Europe, but also of Qatar. That is to say, you know, spent billions for American universities, broadcasting, defaming Israel, difficulty of the Jews, and also, frankly, defaming the United States. Because if you open Al Jazeera in Arabic, not in English, and you follow it over the years, it was horrible. He was anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli, anti-American, and everything that has been allowed to accumulate mainly in the academic world, you know, and from there, he distributed himself elsewhere.

But I can tell you this: Look, the Jewish people have this defamation problem for thousands of years, and we have been accused of everything. In the Middle Ages, we were accused of killing Christian children and using their blood, okay? I mean, and these lies, these horrible blood defamations have always preceded massacres. They spread from one country to another, and there was very little that we could do about it. We were vilified, then we were massacred, until it led to the worst massacre of all – the Holocaust. The Nazis said that we repair the vermin – you know, just like in the Middle Ages. What has changed since the rise of Israel is not this diffusion and not these latent anti -Semitism cycles that have broken out from time to time, because it happens now. What has changed is that it is not followed by the massacre[s]Because when they try, as on October 7, Hamas tried, we are able to repel them, defend ourselves and defeat our enemies. This is the change that Israel has brought. But I think we have the battle continues for the truth, and I appreciate the opportunity you gave me to tell the truth.

And let me say one more thing – have you talked about the “woke up right”? Some of these people are called Maga [Make America Great Again]. They are not Maga. If you support Iran, Iran has tried to kill President Trump twice, not once, but twice. Iran has put a price on its head. … It’s Iran. Iran has murdered, killed and injured more Americans, including thousands, in Iraq and Afghanistan with their explosive devices. They killed 251 American navies in Beirut. They bombed American embassies. They burn American flags. They sing “death in America”. The first thing they did when this regime took power was to take more than 50 hostages at the American Embassy.

Iran wants to destroy the United States. Israel is the best ally in the United States.

Israel fights Iran, and you cannot be Maga if you are pro Iran, you cannot be Maga if you are anti-Israeli. President Trump understands it and he stands very strongly with us. And me, you know, I really appreciate the simple and courageous way in which he faces, sometimes in his own constituency, because this is what leaders, from time to time, must do.

Since his entry into office, Trump has launched the most aggressive campaign against the anti-Semitism of American history, focusing on university campuses but also fighting anti-Jewish hatred in the media and politics.
