iOS 26.0.1, macOS 26.0.1 updates fix install bugs, new phone problems, and more

Now that iOS 26, MacOS 26 Tahoe and the other major Apple software updates for the year are in public, Apple’s efforts for the coming months will go to the correction of bugs and the addition of new individual features. The first of these bug correction updates has arrived this week in the form of iOS 26.0.1, macOS 26.0.1, iPados 26.0.1 and equivalent updates for most devices through Apple’s ecosystem.
The publication notes for most updates focus on the specific adoption problems specific to the device and the platform, in particular for buyers of the new iPhone 17, iPhone 17 pro and iPhone Air.
The iOS 26.0.1 update corrects a bug that could prevent phones from connecting to cellular networks, a bug that could reveal empty application icons, and the voice -over function is disabled on the devices that turned it on. The camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth bugs with new iPhones have also been corrected. The update of iPados also corrects a bug which caused the movement of the floating software keyboard.
