‘Iran Is Winning the War,’ Trump ‘in over His Head’
On MS NOW’s “Deadline” Friday, Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) said President Donald Trump was losing the Iran military operation because he was “in over his head.”
Moulton said: “Iran is gaining influence over us as this war continues. And I have been saying for over a week that Iran is winning the war. We have had many tactical successes, eliminating various military equipment. They have achieved a strategic victory by closing the Strait of Hormuz, which the President of the United States is begging our greatest adversary in the world, China, to help him open. And now, just a day after telling the world, everyone the American people, that they had succeeded. They destroyed all of Iran’s anti-aircraft capabilities, they shot down not one, but two planes from the sky. So it’s obvious that Trump has no idea what he’s doing and he’s lying to us once again.
He added: “The fact is the president has talked about projecting power. We need to stop Iran from projecting power. Well, guess what? They’ve been projecting power much more violently and effectively since you started this war, Mr. President. They weren’t firing missiles and drones at all of our allies in the Middle East. They hadn’t destroyed hundreds of millions of dollars of American military equipment. I mean, well over a billion. Now when you have asked, add that F-15, then did it before the war All thanks to the war you chose, which you are losing.
