IRGC Naval Head, in Charge of Strait of Hormuz, Is Eliminated – RedState
It appears that another Iranian leader has just been eliminated. This one was important when it came to the Strait of Hormuz and any potential US action to secure it.
Alireza Tangsiri was the naval chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in charge of their efforts in the Strait of Hormuz.

He and other collaborators were apparently at a secret naval command center in Bandar Abbas. They were reportedly hit by a precision strike, according to American and Israeli intelligence. Some assistants were also reportedly evacuated.
“In response to the order of the Commander-in-Chief, we will deliver the heaviest blows to the aggressor enemy while maintaining the strategy of closing the Strait of Hormuz,” Tangsiri had said.
The Israelis confirmed this and said it was a lesson for the IRGC.

“This is a clear message to all senior leaders of the Iranian terrorist organization, the Revolutionary Guards, who currently control Iran: the IDF will hunt you down and eliminate you one by one. Congratulations to the IDF for this flawless execution,” the minister said.
He also said they were trying to show help to the United States in its efforts to open the strait.
I think this will significantly harm their plans to defend the Straits, if an attack occurs. If they do not accept the deal, many of them risk meeting the same fate.
Last week, he threatened retaliation against U.S. installations in the region, warning civilians and workers to stay away.
“Our target list is updated. Oil installations associated with America are now on par with American bases and will come under direct fire,” Tangsiri said at the time.
The United States has repeatedly said that eliminating Iranian naval capabilities is a top priority. Since the start of the war, the United States has reportedly destroyed approximately 100 ships used by the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy and the IRGC.
The last tweet on Tangsiri’s X account was a retweet of a post from two days ago that said:
