Most robot vacuum cleaners have two wheels on the back which are directly powered, although they can always have a front roller which allows them to move gently. It works well for most people’s houses, but if, like me, you have a lot of dramatic thresholds that measure a thumb or more, you will find that your robot cleaner is getting very stuck. The new Deebot X11 Pro Omncyclone of Ecovac (X11 Pro OMNI), presented at IFA 2025, is designed to solve this problem by giving it four -wheel drive and the possibility of climbing the thresholds up to 1.6 inch.

It is quite notable and we did not see another vacuum of the robot with four wheels / wheel drive. Some robot lawn mowers, such as the Mammation Luba 2 and the next Roborock models, support it, offering them better stability and maneuvers during the fight against slopes and obstacles.

The X11 Pro Omni should be able to recharge enough during a quick cleaning session of MOP to continue its cleaning cycle.

In theory, this should work in the same way on robot vacuum cleaners, offering them better stability skills and including obstacles. Our colleague PCMAG, Andrew Gebhart, tested the X11 Pro Omni at his home and was generally impressed by his capacities.

“Thanks to his four -wheel drive, he managed to avoid getting stuck during these first races and managed all the thresholds of my house,” wrote Gebhart. “He effectively mapped my house and effectively sucks the litter, animal hair and other dirt without getting together or leaving dust rabbits.”

Interestingly, the X11 Pro Omni also includes a quick charge of Gan (Gallium nitride), a load technology which is quite common on phones, tablets and other mobile devices, which gives them a much faster load speed. Ecovacs did not specify how much GAN technology can invoice the X11 Pro OMNI more quickly compared to an ordinary robot vacuum loading quay, but the company said that it should be able to quickly reconstruct its battery between short quay cycles, such as the rinsing of MOP.

If it’s true, it’s quite impressive. The vacuum cleaners of the previous robot that I tested tend to need at least one 30 -minute or more recharge session while cleaning to be able to vacuum the 840 square feet. Now that I have moved into a larger space, minimizing the charging time between the sessions would make cleaning faster.

The X11 Pro Omni has the Ozmo 2.0 roller brush, which should allow it to tackle stains and other damage more easily than mop pads.

In other specifications, the X11 Pro Omni has all the features and abilities that you expect from a high -end robot vacuum cleaner, including a stronger section (curiously, Pascals are not specified), the MOP Ozmo Roller 2.0 which should work better than the standard whirlwind, the cleaning capacities of the improved edges, and of course a basic station Dust and disinfection of the edges of the robot.

He will come with the AI assistant on Ecovacs disk which can adapt and learn your cleaning habits and your preferences. It supports the compatibility of materials and will operate with Apple Home and Google Home.

The Deebot X11 Omnicycle is available in the United States for $ 1,500 Ecovacs And Amazon Since September 4, although it seems to be on sale for $ 1,300 as an early work.
