Week 1 NFL injury report: Christian McCaffrey, Micah Parsons may not play in opener; Myles Garrett good to go

The 2025 NFL season is at our doorstep, and week 1 is full of intriguing matches, there are many big names on the track to make the headlines throughout the weekend, Aaron Rodgers who made his debut with the Pittsburgh and Micah Parsons steelers (Hope) by taking the ground as a Packer of Green Bay.
However, not all the notable names are on the ground when the NFL returns in force. Indeed, injuries have already had an impact on the 32 clubs due to the results of the training camp and the pre-season.
What diseases are the most worrying? Which star players could be in danger of missing the first week of action? And which are ready to play pain at the start of the season?
We have updated you here with final injury reports for each confrontation in the calendar of week 1, as well as analyzes concerning the main players to miss – or adapt to – their respective games:

It is not a long list of injuries for the Lions before the week 1. Taylor Decker did not practice all week, but did not receive an injury designation.
The key story here for packers is parsons, which has been fighting problems for a few weeks now. He was limited to training this week. Jayden Reed was also limited on Friday, so he is a match decision.
Godwin and Wirfs had to miss the opener, so not a surprise for the buccaneers there. VEA is listed as questionable, but participated in its own right in Friday practice. He should play.
Friday, Jake Matthews was limited for the Falcons, but did not receive an injury designation. Mooney was limited all week and is expected to be a match match decision on Sunday.
- Browns: Mike Hall (knee)
- Bengals: N / A
Mike Hall is the only Browns player who will miss the opening of the season. The Denzel Ward (shoulder) corner half, the Ethan Pocic center (knee) and the offensive platform Joel Bitonio (REST) were limited earlier in the week, but they all play. Star Edge Rusher Myles Garrett missed training on Thursday, but he returned on Friday and has no game designation.
Bengals are entirely healthy, saying that they have no injury to report.
The colts are essentially healthy, because Goodson is the only player to have an injury designation.
Waller will not be available for his debut at the Dolphins, after being retired for a year. He did not train all week with a hip injury. Wright will not play in this one either. Tyreek Hill (oblique / calf) is good to do.
Everyone is ready to opt for raiders in the first Pete Carroll match in Vegas.
No Gonzalez for the patriots in it because he missed training all week. Gonzalez has not practiced for 39 days, so his absence was not a surprise. Carlton Davis and Marcus Jones should start.
Stills was back in training on Friday, and he will be a match decision for the cardinals.
For the saints, Dillon Radunz should start in place of the reception. Young fought against the waterproofing of the calves, and the saints did not want to risk more injuries during week 1.
Pittsburgh Steelers (-2.5) at New York Jets
The choice of the first round Derrick Harmon came out with a tracked knee that he suffered during the pre-season final against the jets. Head coach Mike Tomlin said Harmon would not be available this week earlier in the week. Herbig was limited in Friday training, so it will be a play decision.
No Vera-Tuker for jets this season, because he will get an end-of-season operation for torn triceps. Joe Tippmann can move to the right guard.
The giants have a player, and it’s Thomas – his best offensive line player. He spent most of the camp on the list of puppies and was not trained on Friday. James Hudson is the expected choice to start on the left brochure.
Everyone is available for commanders as they start the 2025 season against their NFC East rival.
Panthers are healthy on the injury report, but Ekwonu was limited on Friday. It was his first training with the team since his appendectomy. We will see how he behaves this weekend.
The Jaguars mainly had a light injury report all week because Van Lanen was limited on Friday.
Good news for titans? Dan Moore will play Tackle. Bad news? Sneed is questionable because it was limited all week. Sneed will be a play decision.
The great broncos injury is Greenlaw, which will not be available on Sunday. He came out with a quad injury, the same injury he missed the entire training camp. Head coach Sean Payton said Greenlaw was dealing with an accumulation of scar tissues and that a schedule to return is not clear.
Will he not play? It is the status of McCaffrey, which does not seem to avoid the injury bug. McCaffrey went from a full -fledged participant on Wednesday to Limited Thursday in Out on Friday. He missed 13 games last season, so Brian Robinson Jr. will get most of the snaps if McCaffrey cannot go. Isaac Guerendo has been out since August 2.
The Texans have broken down from a few receivers with Berrios and Kirk unable to play. Jaylin Noel is listed as the backup of Kirk on the depth painting, so the recruit will see a certain time this week.
All RAMs are good for the opening of the season.
Interesting to see what the Ravens will do with Ricard – their starting back – unable to go. He has not been practicing since August 14. Without probably, expect a large dose of Mark Andrews and a high role for Charlie Kolar.
Without bass for Buffalo, invoices call Matt Prater to kick. Bass was placed on the injured reserve, so he will be at least four games.
