Comedian Shane Gillis Rips DHS for Making Humorous ICE Videos

Comedian Shane Gilli is upset that the Department of Homeland Security is making funny, meme-style videos for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Gillis appeared in a recent edition of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and took issue with the social media campaign the Trump administration is waging for ICE.
“You can’t defend it,” Gillis said, adding, “Damn, ICE makes funny videos about deporting people. I’m like ‘damn man,’ that’s fucking terrible.”
A few minutes later, he added: “The truth, though, is that yes, of course, illegal immigration, we should fix that. Don’t make it fucking funny. It’s a serious thing. It’s a serious thing that you’re doing.”
Gillis also added that “a lot” of the people who run ICE “are obviously just weird, fucking psychopaths that are in this world.”
The comedian has already targeted Donald Trump. In July, he attacked the president based on the left’s paradigm of January 6 hysteria.
Gillis trolled everyone during her ESPY Awards opening monologue in July, from Caitlin Clark to Jeffrey Epstein to Trump to Aaron Rodgers.
“Donald Trump wants to have a UFC fight on the White House lawn; the last time he had a fight in Washington, Mike Pence almost died,” Gillis said, referring to January 6.
He then criticized the Trump administration for calling Jeffrey Epstein’s records a “hoax.”
“There was supposed to be an Epstein joke in here, but it got deleted, so it probably had to delete itself, right?” he said. “It probably never existed. Actually. Let’s move forward as a country and ignore this.”
Gillis also faced attacks from fans for associating with struggling beer brand Bud Light as it attempted to rehabilitate its reputation following an ad campaign with cross-dresser Dylan Mulvaney.
The comedian became famous as a victim of Cancel Culture. He was hired to be a cast member of Saturday evening live but was fired before his first episode due to politically incorrect jokes on his podcast sparking outrage from woke activists. Gillis independently built a successful career as a stand-up comedian and actor, eventually becoming famous enough to host SNL.
