It Took All of Four Words for Scott Jennings to Shatter This Dem Operative’s Plan to Defeat Trump – RedState
Karen Finney had a hard blow during a round table Thursday evening on “CNN Newsnight with Abby Phillip”.
Finney is a Democratic agent who formerly worked on the 2016 presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton. And, for known reasons only, she decided to talk about how the conservatives and the resistance party gathered to try to defeat President Trump in 2024.
CNN’s main political commentator, Scott Jennings, has chosen to rain on his parade as only he can.
The discussion began with the namesake of the show, Abby Phillip, noting that the president had campaigned on being anti-war, but she believes that he reigned in opposition to this. (No, he ran on a peace platform, and sometimes peace requires force.)
Finney sounded to reveal the secret cabal of the alleged conservatives and democrats who fought to shoot Trump.
“I think we cannot ignore … the millions of people, thousands of people who consider themselves anti-Trump, who were once republican, and a whole movement of republicans,” she said.
“I mean, I remember sitting in a meeting leading to this election, I have Bill Kristol sitting here, I, you know, former friends, conservatives from all over the alley,” continued Finney. “We were all lined up in” How to defeat Trump? “It was a meeting …”
And this is where Jennings gave a decisive blow: “How did it go?”

Everything about this clip is simply gold. From Jennings laughter and smile, he couldn’t erase his face for a few minutes later. In Finney, having to really take a break to recover and answer: “You know what, Scott.”
And then watch Phillip try to save her.

First of all, where was she going with that? What would force someone to rely on the strength of a plot to defeat Trump when said conspiracy was an unmountained disaster? You lost, Karen. Surmit it.
Finney tries to recover the song by pointing Trump voting numbers, which “submarine on each problem”.
“My only point is, I think you cannot ignore the fact that there are thousands of people who see themselves as traditional republicans … who no longer see a house in the republican party. I don’t care what Scott says.”
Hmm, if someone wanted to express a healthy skepticism of polls, it should be Mrs. Finney. Surveys have shown that Harris won or at least by racing, and Trump has swept the seven swing states in an electoral landslide. For what? Because the dynamic duo of Finney and effective preservatives like * checks the notes * Bill Kristol did not develop a good plan.
