The Google Pixel 10 series is officially extinguished and, not surprisingly, many AI features are wrapped in new phones.

The event has adopted an approach very different from the previous Keynotes, causing a lot of stars power to explain how people can use AI features on their pixel devices in daily life. Utility was definitely the theme of the event produced by Google this year.

Rick Osterloh, main vice-president of devices and services, described today’s offers as a “personal intelligence”, referring to the way in which the various functionalities of Google AI are aimed at the individual life of users. Osterloh also mentioned an “agent universal AI assistant” later to come later this year, so stay attentive for the news on the functionalities of AI designed to be more proactive and perform tasks on your behalf.

With the help of Jimmy Fallon, the podcast magnate Alex Cooper, of YouTube star Karen Polinessia, and others, Google has shown elegant demos of the AI features of the Pixel 10 series. Here is an overview of the main features announced today.

The voice translated

One of the most exciting live demos was the new translation functionality of Google Pixel 10, which translates conversations in real time. Fallon and Polinesia held a live conversation where Fallon spoke in English and politics spoke in Spanish, and Pixel 10 translated the conversation, corresponding to their voices and tones.

This is similar to a live translation in the competition functionality launched by Google at E / S last spring. However, although this feature required a Google AI Premium subscription, the translation of La Voix is available for free on Pixel 10 phones thanks to a combination of AI models fed by the G5 Tensor chip. It also means that translations are treated on the device, keeping your private conversations.

Magic index

Think of Magic picked like an AI assistant who proactively finds information you may need to search. It works on applications like Gmail, Calendar, screenshots and messages to suggest relevant information. Live demonstration has shown how a question where to meet for dinner has raised information on a pre -existing dinner reservation in the Fallon calendar and recommended the message to send. It also worked with flight information and photos.

We plan that some users could find these “useful” suggestions that are a little too invasive, so Google says that you can deactivate Magic picked and control the applications to which it has access.

AI features for the Google Pixel 10 camera

For those who strive to be more creative, why not outsource all creativity on your phone? This was definitely the message that Google sent to the demo of new AI features for the Pixel 10 Series camera.

Ask Gemini with photo editing aid: With the help of Cooper, Google has shown how to edit photos by typing gemstones, such as repairing lighting or framing and voila, a perfect photo each time.

Camera trainer: If you try to take the perfect photo, but you don’t know where to start, Google has also introduced something called Camera Coach. You can experiment with different angles, lighting and supervising to develop your own personal photography style, or you can let Camera Coach tell you what to do. With this parameter, Camera Coach guides you with different shooting options, then gives you step by step instructions on how to reach this photo.

Pixel Journal

This was not announced during the live event, but it is certainly polarizing. Pixel Journal is a journalization application, like the one Apple presented a few years ago, but with an AI boost. The application uses “an AI available to give you writing prompts that help you treat your thoughts, and it offers an overview of your models and progress over time,” said the ad. So, if you have trouble sharing your thoughts, just ask AI to write them for you.

We can imagine how it could be useful for people who are trying to start with journalization, but it also seems a little dystopian to ensure that AI does it on your behalf. Isn’t that the interest of journalization on learning the articulation of your feelings? We do not know exactly how much Google AI is involved in your journalization practice, so we definitely keep an eye on it.

Ask AI to make a message

Google has continued to rely on the Pixel call screening features, and now it comes with an AI request to take a message. The well -named functionality will take a message, will transcribe all the voice messages of missed calls and will provide all the next steps of the message.

Google AI Pro subscription

If you buy a Pixel 10 Pro, Pro XL or 10 Pro Fold, Google will give you a full year of its AI subscription, Google AI Pro. Google’s low level subscription normally costs $ 20 per month and gives you higher -end access to the various Google AI tools. This includes access to more advanced Gemini models, the AI movie tool flow of Google, its Podcast LM style teaching tool, Gemini Gmail, Docs, other Google applications, etc.
