Jaxson Dart throws TD, fumbles, gets banged up in first Giants start

Jaxson Dart checked another stage Thursday evening on his constant climb to playing time of the regular season. But that didn’t happen without a hiccup.
The choice of the first round of the Giants made its first departure as a quarter of the NFL during the pre-season final of the team against the New England Patriots at the Metlife Stadium. And he turned on the first fireworks with an opening key.
Then, the recruit escaped at the end of the first quarter and absorbed a huge blow which prompted the concrete spots to remove it from the ground for an evaluation. Dart was assessed for a concussion and was authorized to return to the key line shortly after, but he no longer played in the game.
All of this was equivalent to an eventful evening for Dart full of achievements and learned lessons.
During the opening, Dart improvised and struck the large Gunner Olszewski receiver for a capture of 50 yards and head to the 11 yards of the Patriots. Then he struck the winger tight Greg Dulcich in the middle for a reception of a touch of 7 yards in third position to take an advance of 7-0 at the start.
Brian Daboll rested most of his starters after playing them in the first two pre-season games of the Giants against the Bills and the Jets. The coach therefore pushed his recruit dart in the first round and Abdul Carter before and in the center on Thursday.
Interestingly, he even made Dart and Carter his only two captains for the game, even if many veterans have also taken the ground.
The second and third discs of Dart ended with clearance boots. His fourth journey ended almost in turnover.
Dart rushed to 23 yards on a 4th and 4 conversion of the 45 yards line of the Giants, but instead of sliding towards the lawn, he tried to juke a defender and take it. And the Patriots’ secondary, Jack Gibbens, struck the ball while Dart had the arm, body and head slammed towards the lawn.
New England’s Jabrill peppers have recovered.
The officials withdrew the DART from the game before the Snap that followed. This is what happens when the brain concrete spots identifies a player for the evaluation. Dart must therefore have left and enter the medical tent.
The giants brought the ball, fortunately, because of a call for defensive of the patriots on the game. And in a way, the officials counted the gain of Dart to advance the giants inside the 30.
So DART’s trial and error did not count as a turnover. And Jameis Winston quickly replaced Dart to hit Jalin Hyatt for a touch of 27 yards.
And this is how Dart’s pre-season ended: finishing 6 passes out of 12 for 81 yards and a touchdown, and learning the harsh that he must slip into the pros.
