JB Pritzker Does Himself No Favors With Reaction to Brandon Johnson’s Anti-Trump Meltdown – RedState

As Redstate reported, the Governor of Illinois JB Pritzker (D) held a press conference on Monday in Chicago in response to President Donald Trump suggesting on Friday that the windy city could be the next on his list for a repression of the crime assisted by the National Guard.
At the time, Trump said that “Chicago is a mess, you have an incompetent mayor – very incompetent – and we will probably straighten the next one. It will be our next after that.”
Despite the pleadings of residents beyond help, Pritzker demanded that Trump stay outside of Chicago, warning a trial if he did not.
“We will see the Trump administration in court. The state of Illinois is ready to oppose this military deployment with all the peaceful tools that we have,” Pritzker proclaimed.

Democrat Brandon Johnson, “the coarsely incompetent mayor” to whom Trump was referring, was also to the supplier. When it was in turn to speak, Johnson had a normal, declaring an alleged “dependence” to “prisons and incarceration” for criminal offenders was “racist”, “immoral” and “impious”:
We cannot incarcerate our path of violence. We have already tried this and we have ended up with the largest prison population in the world without solving the problems of crime and violence. Dependence on prisons and incarceration in this country – we have exceeded this. It is racist, it is immoral, it is impious, and it is not the means to reduce violence. We cannot return to the same failed strategies that brought us here in the first place.
It is Pritzker applauding the anti-pass diatriber and Johnson’s order which caught my attention, however.

The mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson,: putting people in prison is racist, impious and does not abuse violent crimes.

Funny, but I thought that “failed strategies” involved things such as “bond reform” and leaving the repeat offenders in the streets to commit crimes over and over, who were both part of the problems in Washington, DC, who prompted Trump to federate the police in the first place.
Presumably, Johnson has no presidential aspirations in 2028, but I think it is quite clear that Pritzker. And yet, he is there, giving the approval of the exact approach of the Soft-On-Crime proposed by the Democrats and their farfludes of affiliated professional social justice which made big blue cities in America, so that the crime was lucrative that people flee towards safer states, and in some cases also leave the Democratic Party in the process.
Admittedly, this is not the first time that Pritzker has adopted this approach; State Republicans have long been accused him of being mild on crime. But his demonstration of support for such positions in the broader context of repelling Trump’s efforts to limit crime, an area on which the president sounded very well, will not make favors in 2028.
Despite this message by injuring them in 2020 and 2024, the Democrats continue to double – and at a time when the survey reflects that a majority of Americans trust the Republicans and Trump more than the Democrats on the issue of crime, as we have also reported:
Everything CNN admits that Americans love crime management by Trump.
“Look where Donald Trump is. Well, well above Joe Biden. It’s 27 points. The Americans therefore considerably prefer Donald Trump’s approach to crime than to Joe Biden.”@DailCaller pic.twitter.com/nxaxqa9uwa

Continue to do what you do, however, to the Democrats. You do great.
