Jett Williams, Jonah Tong among Mets prospects promoted to Triple-A
Four DETA prospects are getting closer to the majors.
Jett Williams, Jonah Tong, Carson Benge and Ryan Clifford were all promoted on Monday in Triple-A Syracuse. The MLB pipeline is each ranked in the seven main food prospects.
Williams, a midfielder and defensive players in the center, is considered to be the n ° 1 of the food prospect. The 21-year-old hit. 281 with 10 circuits, an OPS of 0.867 and 32 bases stolen in 96 games with Double-A Binghamton this year.
