‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Hosts ‘Drag Queen Storytime;’ Trixie Mattel Reads Eric Trump’s Memoir to Children, Throws Book in Wood Chipper
Drag queen Trixie Mattel appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show Drag Queen Story Timewhere he read Eric Trump’s new memoir, Under Siege: My Family’s Fight to Save Our Nationwhile wearing women’s clothing.
ABC Jimmy Kimmel Live! — who recently returned to the air after a brief cancellation after Kimmel falsely told millions of grieving Americans that one of their own had likely murdered Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk — brought back his Drag Queen Story Time segment Wednesday.
“Am I scaring any of you?” Mattel asked the kids during the show’s segment, to which the kids responded, “No,” before one said with a wave of his hand, “You look just great.” Why would that be scary?
“That’s so affirming, thank you very much. You guys look great too,” the man dressed as a woman told the children.
Mattel then moved on to “the whole stack of books” he had, asking the children if they would like to “pick one set.”
“Because, after all, it’s a democracy. As of this morning, it’s still a democracy. I’m not sure,” added the drag queen, before offering to read to the children a book entitled “Who Cares about the Elderly?” and another, titled “Collectible Spoons of the Third Reich.”

After the children expressed their refusal to read the material, Mattel asked, “Okay, would you like to read a book by President Trump?” » to which the children responded “No” in unison.
Mattel instead suggested reading the memoir of Eric Trump, whom it considered Trump’s “least favorite son,” before asking the children whether or not they were “potty trained” and reading several excerpts from the book.
Reciting an excerpt from Eric Trump’s memoir, Mattel read: “Donald Trump is certainly not conventional, he is certainly not politically correct. He also has a heart of gold and is the best father a son or daughter could have.”
“Okay, I’ll stop you there,” one of the children interrupted, adding, “Instead of skipping this page, we should skip the whole book.”
The child then asked if the drag queen could “skip the whole story time and go straight to lunch.”
Mattel then takes the kids outside for what it calls a “special science experiment,” which involved throwing a copy of the book into a wood chipper.
“It may not be a great book, but it will make great confetti,” Mattel said.
This is not the first time Kimmel has attacked Republicans while dismissing parents’ concerns about their children’s exposure to sexualized propaganda and drag queen propaganda.
In 2023, Jimmy Kimmel Live! hosted another Drag Queen Story Time segment featuring Mattel, who read Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) book, “Unwoke: How to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America,” to children.
