Donald Trump’s Thanksgiving day message was angry and offensive even for him, with the president ranting on his own Truth Social about how people had allowed the country to be “divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at,” before going on to call Minnesota Governor Tim Walz the R slur.
“I hate to be the one to tell you, our country isn’t being laughed at — they’re laughing at you,” says Jimmy Kimmel in the clip above. “I wonder why he didn’t get that Nobel Peace Prize. It makes no sense.”
Kimmel goes on to play a clip of Trump doubling down on his comments while being interviewed on Air Force One, saying “I think there’s something wrong with him” about Walz.
“Another bold statement from the President of the Eighth Grade,” says Kimmel.
