The deadline for the Merrillville employment fair has spread until Tuesday
Companies will have more time to register as sellers for the next Merrillville employment fair, according to a press release.
Employers have until Tuesday to obtain their supplier space for the job show scheduled from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on July 30 at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway in Merrillville.
Interested companies may visit Merrillville.in.gov/jobfair for more information and register, the press release said.
PNW students win spring 2025 list of Dean’s list
The list of dean of the Spring Semester of the Purdue Northwest 2025 University recognizes 1,746 undergraduate students for their academic results.
Qualified students underwent an overall cumulative weighted average of at least 3.5 and a cumulative weighted average semester of at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0.

The Franciscan alliance announces new leadership nominations
The Franciscan alliance recently welcomed several new leaders to key roles in its health ministry after recent retirement, according to a statement.
The Catholic Ministry of Catholic Health Care based in Mishawaka has appointed the four experienced health care professionals experienced as vice-president, vice-president and chief medical chief:
Dr Gerald Maloney, chief doctor
Michael Englehart, Vice-President Director of the Franciscan network of the network of specialized doctors of Illinois LLC and post-Aigus Franciscan services
Dr Joseph Schnecker, chief of medical information
Tim Murphy, vice-president of the strategy
Maloney assumes the post of Franciscan CMO after decades at Geisenger Health in Danville, Pennsylvania, where he has spent the last 19 years as a doctor and his last eight in chief.
Englehart assumes the main vice-president of the Franciscan network of doctors / specialists from specialized physicians from Illinois LLC and post-Aigus Franciscan services after more than two decades in health care.
Schnecker holds the post of Franciscan CMIO of his current role as medical director of Franciscan information services, which he has occupied since 2019.
Murphy assumes the role of vice-president of the strategy following his role of Franciscan COO / CFO for the network of Franciscan doctors, specialized doctors of Illinois LLC and post-Aigus Franciscan services.

The official of Valpo Parks wins the certification
The leisure superintendent of the Valparaiso parks department, Madison Bell, recently carried out the certified and professional certification of the Leisure of the National Parks and Recreation Association, said a press release.

The surgeon joins Northwest Health
Dr. Je Jeremy Luedtke, a general surgeon, recently returned to the Northwest Medical Group, according to a press release.
LUEDKTE practiced the Northwest Medical Group in Laporte for several years before moving to Wisconsin and has now returned to the organization, the statement said.
He accepts new patients at the Northwest Medical Group – General Surgery Office located on the Medical Place at 85 EUS 6, following 240, in Valparaiso.
After completing his surgical intensive care scholarship at Minnesota University in Minneapolis, Luedtke was a general surgeon and an intensive care doctor at the Prenea Alouez health center in Wisconsin, a general and robotic surgeon at Northwest Health Neenah.
