The host of MSNBC, Joe Scarborough, urged the governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, a democrat, to do something “radical” on Tuesday – a partnership with President Donald Trump to combat violent crimes in Chicago.

In recent weeks, Trump has repeatedly suggested sending the National Guard to Chicago after deploying hundreds of federal troops to Washington, DC, to fight crime. Pritzker has rejected, calling for the idea “a dangerous power”.

Although Scarborough has agreed that Trump probably did not have the constitutional authority to deploy the National Guard to Chicago, he argued that “in the morning Joe” that Pritzker should, at the very least, be open to work with the president.

Joe Scarborough of MSNBC admits that “many” democrats secretly applaud the repression of Trump’s Crime of DC

“I actually think that JB Pritzker should do something radical,” said Scarborough. “I think he should get the phone, call the president and say,” You know, and I know that you do not have the constitutional authority to deploy the National Guard here and to control my [city]. You can do it at DC, you can’t do it in Chicago. But let’s associate ourselves. ‘”

Scarborough comments came after information that at least 58 people were killed and eight were killed in Chicago during the Labor Day weekend, despite the mayor of Pritzker and the mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, insisting that the city did not need federal help.

The MSNBC host criticized the two Democratic leaders for minimizing crime.

“Because for the moment, just the” hey, nothing to do here “,” advancing, no problem here, “Hey Donald Trump, we don’t need you”, and the mayor who talks about “we are going to protect the dignity of people in our city”. Well, protect their lives! Said Scarborough.

He added: “It would be radical for us to find a way to do what I say from the start [with] Washington, and it is to see politicians create partnerships that protect their people. “”

Fox News Digital contacted the Pritzker office to comment.

Johnson signed a decree on Friday rejecting Trump’s threat to deploy federal troops or the National Guard.

“We do not need or want an unconstitutional and illegal military occupation of our city,” said Johnson, promising that Chicago “would do everything in our power to defend our democracy and protect our communities.”

A few days before signing the order, Johnson has repeatedly dodged Scarborough questions to find out if more police in the street would reduce crime to Chicago.
