John Fetterman Hospitalized After Fall

Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman fell while out for a walk Thursday and was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital out of an abundance of caution.
After evaluation, it was discovered that Fetterman had a bout of ventricular fibrillation – a heart rhythm disorder – causing him to feel dizzy and fall to the ground, hitting his face and suffering minor injuries. His spokesperson confirmed that Fetterman is doing well and has chosen to remain in the hospital for routine observation and “fine-tuning” his treatment plan for his heart condition.
“If you thought my face was bad before, wait until you see it now!” » Fetterman said in a statement.
The incident occurred near his home in Braddock, Pennsylvania, while Congress is currently not in session, allowing lawmakers to return home before legislative business resumes Monday.
