Gear News This Week: Adobe Wants to Make iPhone Photos Better, and TCL Brings Flexibility to Atmos

The biggest JBUDS festival ($ 70) offers 30 watts to be able to make it “one of the most powerful speakers at its price”, according to JLAB, however, unlike most speakers at this level, it is not entirely soaked, offering only IPX6 water resistance. Finally, as each brand needs a karaoke speaker, there is the epic party of $ 150 with a 360-degree sound scene, four 2.5-inch drivers, a 5.25 inch woofer and up to 16 hours of battery life. Like its brothers and sisters, the EPIC has RGB lighting and includes both a connection to 3.5 mm and a quarter of thumb to add a microphone. The four speakers are available this week, and we will check them soon to see how they accumulate with the best Bluetooth speakers that we have tested. –Ryan Waniata
The TCL Z100 speaker makes the sound atmosphere more flexible
More than 18 months after the first teasing at IFA 2023, TCL confirmed the launch of the Z100 – the first speaker in the world Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. The objective here is to provide wireless atmosphere sound and flexibly, with a range of configurations available – from two to four speakers.
As they are wireless, Z100 speakers can be placed everywhere in the room and will work with the sound of compatible TCL TVs as well as any other Z100 that you have, creating an atmos 5.1.2-canal or 7.1.4 channels. Each speaker contains four drivers, including an upward shot, to deliver 170 watts of total power.
The Z100 is currently compatible with the latest generation of TCL QD-Mini LED televisions, such as QM6K, and will also be double as a Bluetooth speaker (without Atmos). It will be available first in France from July 2025, with other European and American launches to follow. –Verity Burns
Philips Hue made its debut on the wall washer
With the kind authorization of Philips
The latest version of Philips Hue’s smart lighting is the Hue Play wall washer. This elegant, black and black aluminum device is only 6 inches high and is designed to sit on your TV cabinet or your buffet and, as its name suggests, wash your wall in a colorful light. Using a new Colocast projection technology, the wall washer spans light at a wide angle and supports several simultaneous colors and a ton of lighting effects. You can synchronize it with your existing HUE lights and systems, including the HDMI Hue synchronization box and TV and PC SYNC applications. People can define the intensity, speed, brightness, 3D positioning and the direction of light that it emits in the Hue application. Available this month, a single wall washer costs $ 220 rather spicy, or you can hang a pack of two for $ 385.
The selected markets already have access to the AI assistant integrated into the Hue application, which you can ask to generate scenes according to your mood or your activity, but it takes place in the United Kingdom in July and in the world (including the United States) in August. –Simon Hill
