The Trump administration’s border, Tsar Tom Homan, walked more operations to apply immigration in the workplace on Sunday, similar to the Georgia Hyundai factory that stopped hundreds last week.

Immigration and customs agents (ICE) arrested nearly 500 people during a raid on Thursday in an electric battery plant in Georgia led by Hyundai and LG Energy Solutions. Most arrested people would have South Korean nationals living and working in the country illegally, whether by illegally entering, going beyond visas or violating the visas by working.

When asked by Jake Tapper from CNN if the Trump administration would pursue raids similar in the future, Homan said they would continue.

“The short answer is yes,” said Homan. “We are going to do more operations in the application of construction sites because the number one, it is criminal to enter this country illegally. Number two, it is criminal to knowingly hire an illegal foreigner, and these companies that hire illegal foreigners, they undermine the competition that pays the wages of American citizens.”

“Listen, no one engages illegal extraterrestrials on the goodness of their hearts. They hire them because they work them harder, pay them less and undermine competition,” added Homan.

Hyundai owns the factory, but the company said that none of the workers were employed directly by the company.

THE South Korean The government has since concluded an agreement with the United States to obtain the release of hundreds of migrant workers detained at the Hyundai factory.

President Lee Jae Myung’s office said the country will send a charter plane to bring workers back to South Korea in the coming days.

The Trump administration has made the application of immigration a national priority, promising to close the border and to expel millions of illegal immigrants. The administration has already expelled more than 300,000 illegal immigrants, according to federal data, and deportations have increased to more than 1,500 per day – a rate not seen since the mandate of President Barack Obama, according to the New York Times.

Homan said he had personal experience of how illegal immigration puts Americans at work and reduces the wages of American employees. When he replaced his roof, he had to make many requests before finding a business that could guarantee a legal workforce.

“I spoke to a company, just a father and a son, who dismissed 20 citizens’ employees because they could not win an offer. The competition offered much less for a job because they paid much less to employees to work because they are illegally in the United States,” said Homan.
