Stacey Plaskett Further Implicated in the Epstein Files, and Things Just Got Awkward for Ro Khanna – RedState

Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) has positioned himself as a firebrand when it comes to speaking out against the Epstein files, and now he has the opportunity to prove that this isn’t just partisan grandstanding.

Following the release of more information on Monday, fellow party member Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI), was further implicated in the scandal. According to multiple emails, she used a pseudonym to solicit funding from Epstein for a “new voter roster” that would help him win the Virgin Islands election.

Democratic Rep. Stacey Plaskett (VI) implored Jeffrey Epstein to help fund a new “voter roster” that would allow him to “completely outperform anyone in any race.”

Using the email address “LeRoy Daughter,” Plaskett pitched the idea to Epstein in a May 5, 2017, email, according to documents released by the Justice Department. In his speech, Plaskett asked Epstein to fund a year-long project to “create a new voter registry” of Virgin Islands voters.

The goal, according to Plaskett, was to compile data on Virgin Islanders who had voted in recent elections and update their phone numbers, email addresses and home addresses to help Plaskett’s campaign and that of his allies in other races.

“This is the most important group to poll for messages and, later, to build support and get to the polls,” Plaskett wrote, adding that the list would help candidates decide which policy positions to take and make “messaging and campaign work easier.”

This follows previous revelations that Plaskett received texts from Epstein during a 2019 hearing and was coached on what questions to ask. She would later defend this as simply listening to one of her constituents, a ridiculous excuse. I don’t know about you, but I can’t text my congressman asking what to ask at a hearing. Pretending that this was a normal arrangement has never succeeded, but it’s the delay involved that is truly damning.

Epstein was first convicted in 2008 of, among other crimes, soliciting a child for prostitution. Plaskett had a full-fledged relationship with him, going so far as to let him dictate congressional hearings, long after that. There was no ambiguity as to whose pseudonym Epstein had used to invite him to a fundraiser in New York. On September 24, 2018, Plaskett even went so far as to ask the sex trafficker if she could call him “friend,” to which he responded in the affirmative.

So Khanna has a big opportunity here. He has previously said he wants to take people personally linked to Epstein to Congress. Well, Plaskett seems like a prime target, right?

How deep did Epstein and Plaskett’s relationship go, and what else did it involve? And why did she give him so much influence until 2019, the same year he was arrested and (again) charged with various sex crimes? The American people deserve answers, and while Khanna is not a complete hacker, he will work to provide them. Will this happen? Don’t hold your breath.
