Taylor Swift Doubles Down on a Distinct Fall Bag Shape That Fits All Budgets
Taylor Swift is a woman with very specific tastes and it seems like she’s continually drawn to a particular shape of bag.
On Nov. 7, the 35-year-old pop star was photographed out and about with Sabrina Carpenter, both sporting going-out versions of cozy fall looks. For her part, Carpenter was dressed in a chunky white turtleneck and beige trench coat, which she accented with a super short black mini skirt, sheer stockings, open heels and a bright red lip.
As usual, Swift devoured a preppy pleated skirt, although she branched out a bit by choosing a unique layered, asymmetrical design from Thome Brown, which she paired with a matching polo buttoned all the way to the top. She topped it all off with her own signature red lip, sheer stockings, and burgundy platform moccasin heels from Gucci, a hybrid style she’s favored in multiple colors and patterns in the past.
Taylor Swift practically lives by the TikTok mantra: “If I like it, I’ll just get another color of it,” although she’s more likely to find a variation of a favorite style than an exact match in multiple shades, whether it’s a heeled loafer or a half-moon bag, as Swift also demonstrated during this New York outing. To complete her look, Swift opted for a beige version of The Row’s popular Half Moon crossbody bag, which retails for $1,390.
