Kamala Harris Cheers Anti-ICE Mobs As Incendiary Democrat Rhetoric Continues – RedState

Kamala Harris said the quiet part out loud.
In a late February conversation with AFT President Randi Weingarten, the former vice president openly praised Minneapolis activists who were interfering with Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations. Not with caution. Not carefully. With enthusiasm.
HOLY COW! Kamala Harris is VERY EXCITED about stopping ICE.
“It’s so FANTASTIC! People coming out with their WHISTLES, their smartphones and helping complete STRANGERS! It’s so BEAUTIFUL to see!”

His comments about Minneapolis were not vague. They were direct.
“In Minneapolis, just look at what we saw. It’s so fantastic. People coming out with their whistles, they’re recording videos. And, you know, with complete strangers and their help, it’s so beautiful to see.”
These whistles are used to alert neighborhoods when ICE agents are present and to mobilize people specifically to confront enforcement activities. They do not calm situations. They make them more dangerous.
This puts federal agents at risk.
ICE agents and Border Patrol agents carry out lawful orders authorized by Congress and the federal courts. When crowds are intentionally called to intervene, the risk of confrontation greatly increases.
Minneapolis is not theoretical terrain. The city has previously been the site of deadly immigration-related clashes, including the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti during ICE and Border Patrol activities, which ultimately led to the end of Operation Metro Surge. These operations carry real risks before the militants enter them.
And yet Harris, a potential 2028 Democratic presidential candidate, called the disruption something uplifting.
“When people come together and we remember the strength of community, and we remember the strength of coalition and power, you know, it’s cliché, power in numbers, right?”
There is a clear line between documenting the activities of law enforcement and organizing their interference. Harris crossed it. She did not describe the sighting. She praised the mobilization.
She made it clear moments later.
“The power of numbers…we teach that to kids, don’t we?” »
This is not a throwaway line. This is an endorsement of popular leverage against federal law enforcement.
This is not a one-off remark. Harris has previously clearly opposed the expulsion policy, including chanting “Down with education. Down with expulsion” during a public event. The passing line is consistent.
This position places it well to the left of much of the country. Americans may be debating reform, but support for the app itself remains. Polls have consistently shown a majority in favor of deporting people who are in the country illegally, particularly those with criminal records.

Federal agents already operate under close surveillance. They already face hostility on the ground. Encouraging organized disruption increases the likelihood that lawful operations will become hotspots. This increases the chance that someone will be injured.
Leadership requires judgment. This requires restraint. This requires understanding that words have consequences.
Harris chose to applaud the interference and disruption of federal law enforcement.
Imagine this mindset that runs the very agencies she encourages.
The voters did it.
Editor’s note: Democratic politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents who enforce our immigration laws.
