If Alex Acosta Was In Fact Told To Lay Off Epstein Due To Intel Ties, Who Delivered The Message?
If the former labor secretary, Alex Acosta, had in fact said that Jeffrey Epstein was an intelligence asset, the Epstein prosecutor, Jay Lefkowitz, has the characteristics of a person who could have delivered such a message.
In October 2007, Lefkowitz – a lawyer and former colleague who served in the administrations of George HW Bush and George W. Bush – met Acosta for breakfast while representing Epstein, according to a report by Miami Herald.

Rather than meeting at your office in Miami, Acosta and Lefkowitz chose to meet around 70 miles away in a hotel in West Palm Beach Marriott, according to the report.

The American prosecutor’s office would have proposed to end his investigation if Epstein had pleaded guilty to two state accusations and agreed to accept a prison sentence, to register as a sex delinquent and set up a means for his victims to obtain monetary damages, added the report. Although it faces serious federal accusations which could have caused a perpetuity imprisonment, Epstein finally avoided a federal trial and served only 13 months in prison.
A report from the Ministry of Justice revealed that Acosta has shown a “bad judgment” in the treatment of the Epstein case as a federal prosecutor, but has not committed professional fault.
The current survey of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was suddenly closed, and Epstein obtained immunity-not only for itself and its accomplices named, but also for all potential anonymous co-conspirators, according to a national public radio report (NPR).
The victims have never been informed of the agreement, which violated the federal law.

Lefkowitz’s long -standing relationship with the Bush family started when Morris Abram presented it to the president of the time – George HW Bush, according to a report by Columbia College TODAY.
He also played a key role in the Bush campaign in 1988 as deputy director of victory ’88 and liaison with the Jewish community in New York.
After the elections, he joined Bush’s White House, as an assistant executive secretary of the Domestic Policy Council and the Director of Cabinet Affairs.
In 1990, he was part of the American delegation to the United Nations Human Rights Commission in Geneva.
During the first term of President George W. Bush, he was advisor in domestic policy and general lawyer of the management and budget office.
Lefkowitz then assumed the role of a special envoy for human rights in North Korea in the State Department in August 2005 – marking its fifth official position in the two Bush administrations, according to its bio Tikvah.
Before joining the George W. Bush administration, Lefkowitz was also associated with the Kirkland & Ellis DC office, where he focused on commercial and call disputes.

Lefkowitz’s main legal expertise lies in the law of appeal and antitrust, where it has managed high issues, complex questions for the main customers – including more than a dozen pharmaceutical companies, medical devices and health care.
It has also been involved in high -level securities disputes, including collective appeals awaiting article 10 (B) (5).
His role in a high -level criminal case involving the abuse of minor girls has marked a significant gap in his usual legal objective.
The affirmations of Epstein’s links with intelligence, combined with a meticulous examination of the government service of Lefkowitz, education and repeated trips in Israel, have led some to speculate if Lefkowitz may have had similar non -disclosed connections – raising questions about the extent of its influence in securing the Epsttein advocacy agreement.

Jeffrey Epstein’s Couq Foundation made an anonymous donation of $ 500,000 at Ramaz school, where Lefkowitz’s children were registered.
The 2008 documents of the Foundation also show a donation of $ 2.5 million to Ohio State University, according to a New York Times report.
He was largely funded with $ 21 million in two charities linked to the billionaire Leslie Wexner – the longtime financial patron of Epstein, who had entrusted him with the management of his fortune and supervising several philanthropic companies.
