Friday, federal agents were forced to shoot pepper balls in the rioters during a riot outside the ice installation of the Chicago region, according to a video published on X by several accounts, with some of the rioters arrested. Resistance to ice operations included a Milwaukee judge who would have helped an illegal immigrant to briefly escape the ice agents in April and the Democratic mayor Freddie O’Connell de Nashville who publishes the names of the ice agents involved in a repression against illegal immigrants in the city in May. In New York, ice agents arrested the former candidate for the Democrat Town Hall Brad Lander on June 18 after allegedly interfered with an ice operation in a Tribunal in Manhattan. Democratic representative Lamonica McIiver of New Jersey was accused of having attacked an ice agent after a May incident in an ICE installation in Newark.
