Kennedy’s Vaccine Advisers Sow Doubts as Scientists Protest US Pivot on Shots

While licensed and retired scientists have rallied outside in Atlanta’s heat, an advisory panel that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sorted on the side to replace the experts he had dismissed earlier in the seats of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to plan a future more skeptical vaccine.

“The withdrawal of the Thimérosal from vaccines did not make them safer, just more expensive,” said Elias Kass, a naturopathic doctor in Seattle, on the committee during a public comment session. “The re -license of questions already answered, like the security of the Thimérosal, does not advance radical transparency – it is an insidious attempt to suggest that something has been missed or hidden before.”

The elimination of thimérosal from all influenza vaccines can have drawbacks.

Two companies – Seqirus and Sanofi – always sell bottles of multidose flu vaccines that contain thimérosal as a curator. A single vaccination of these 10 -doses bottles costs 10 to 40 times less than a prepackée syringe at a time, according to a price list of the CDC.

Seqirus will have no trouble replacing its remaining multi-doses bottles with unique syringes in time for the flu season, said spokesperson Melanie Kerin.
