A Lamborghini Temerario demonstration vehicle has been involved in a crash in Scotland, resulting in heavy damage to the front of one of the UK’s newest supercars. The vehicle was used by Lamborghini Edinburgh and was among the first Temerarios delivered to the UK market.

Images circulating on social media show the yellow Temerario stopped in the middle of a roadway with significant damage concentrated at the front of the car. The hood area, bumper and front structure appear destroyed, indicating a significant impact. The image was shared by the @supercarsofnewcastle1 account, immediately attracting the attention of enthusiasts due to the rarity of the model.

Specific details surrounding the accident have not been confirmed. Based on visible evidence, the car appears to have left its intended path and struck a road barrier. Road and weather conditions may have played a role, as the surface appears cold and greasy, increasing the likelihood of reduced traction. The circumstances suggest that the driver may have lost control before the impact occurred.

The Temerario represents a major step forward in Lamborghini’s electrified performance lineup. It is powered by an all-new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine capable of revving up to 10,000 rpm. This internal combustion engine is combined with three electric motors, including an axial flow motor integrated directly into the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The V8 alone produces 789 horsepower between 9,000 and 9,750 rpm, as well as 538 pound-feet of torque between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm. Electric motors bring an additional 148 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Power for the hybrid system is provided by a 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery.

As a demonstration vehicle, the crashed Temerario would have been used to showcase the model to customers ahead of wider availability. The incident highlights the challenges of deploying high-performance vehicles on public roads, particularly in less than ideal conditions.
