Authorities have captured the last monkey to escape after a highway crash in Mississippi. The state Department of Wildlife, Fish and Parks said Thursday that a resident near the crash site reported the monkey’s location. The animal was found near a house in the Vossburg area. The incident occurred about a week after a truck carrying the monkeys overturned on Interstate 59 near Heidelberg. Five monkeys were killed during the search. Two others were shot dead by civilians. Authorities have warned residents not to approach the rhesus monkeys because they can be aggressive.
