Soros-Backed Leftist Group Behind Campaign To Force Government Shutdown

A group of left -wing activists who received millions of dollars from the Soros family organization leads a pressure campaign to push democratic senators to vote against government funding and force a partial closure.
Indivisible – The organization behind many recent “No Kings” demonstrations and other demonstrations which are part of the so -called “resistance” against President Donald Trump – embarked on a recent effort to encourage the Democrats of the Senate not to come to a bipartite funding agreement with their republican colleagues and the president. The group’s website is currently hosting a form allowing people to easily contact their democratic senators by phone, with a script of which to say. The non -deductible entity without group tax, indivisible Project, received a total of $ 7.6 million in subsidies from the Open Society (OSF) Foundations in the past eight years, according to the indivisible website. The OSF is an granting network that the leftist billionaire George Soros founded in 1993 and his son, Alexander Soros, currently chairs.
“Federal government funding is exhausted on September 30 – and the Republicans need democratic votes to erase the filibuster and avoid a government closure,” said the indivisible form. “Democrats have a strong hand to play. They must use it to refuse Donald Trump that the Virgin Check Republicans want to give it! ”
The government will close if the congress will not adopt a continuous resolution (CR) to finance it by the end of Tuesday. The Senate Democrats led by the minority chief besieged Chuck Schumer have so far refused to support the SRC adopted by the Republicans who does not include a litany of left -wing policy proposals.
“But in the last big fundraising fight, Chuck Schumer and a handful of other DEMs went – meeting and leaving Trump to arm the federal funds to steal our services, militarize our cities and terrorize our communities,” continues the form of the left group. “It cannot happen again.”
Schumer notably worked with the Republicans to adopt a spending bill to finance the government in March.
The indivisible form also says voters reminds Democratic senators “we cannot give white checks to a grass king”, referring to Trump. He also tells voters to ask their senators “to continue to put Schumer publicly to fight like hell!”
After Schumer and nine other members of the Democratic Caucus of the Senate voted with the Republicans to break the Filibusier on the March on March Expenditure Bill, indivisible called publicly that Schumer retires as the leader of the Caucus and even organized an event where people wrote retirement cards that were addressed to him.
Just after March’s March’s decision to work with the Republicans to keep the government open, New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made the file to explode it, feeding the speculation that it could challenge it during the elections in the New York Senate in 2028. A survey of the end of March by the left company for the progress has shown the longtime holder of almost 20 points in a hypothetical match.

On September 19, the Chamber exceeded a CR clean supported by the GOP to finance the government until November 21 – with the support of a single democrat. However, it was not well below the 60 votes required to bypass an obligatory in the Senate the same day.
Meanwhile, the Senate rejected a counter-proposition supported by Schumer along the party’s parts, also on September 19. This CRO supported by the Democrat allegedly reversed about 1 billion of dollars of cost savings in the great law on the bill of Trump (OBBA), preventing illegal immigrants from receiving subsidities of health care and non-appearance of the OBBA. “Senate Democrats must reject the pressure funded by Soros from the radical left and pass the CR Clean,” said a White House official at Daily Caller News Foundation. “More than one dollars billion of new expenses, health care funded by taxpayers for illegal foreigners, half a billion dollars for the left media and the elimination of the rural health care fund are all non-starters-completely disconnected from what the Americans want and deserve their government.”
“If the Democrats are transformed at their extremist base, they will have this closure and will endanger the police, will reduce Wic [Women, Infants, and Children] Advantages for mothers and children and threatens health care for the elderly, ”added the manager.
Trump would have planned to meet Schumer, the minority head of the Hakeem Jeffries room, the president of the Mike Johnson room and the head of the majority of the Senate John Thune on Monday, one day before the deadline for partial closure.
