A left-wing political effort supporting Zohran Mamdani, town hall candidate in New York Israel, is led by a billionaire in China known to finance radical groups in the United States, according to the New York Post.

Alicia Singham Goodwin, 33, who is a political director of progressive non -profit Jews for racial and economic justice, directed the “Jewish for Zohran” campaign, according to the New York Post. “We had our own voter file and the telephone banks aimed at Jewish voters, with Jews speaking to the Jews,” said Singham Goodwin in an interview on July 1 on WBAI Radio, reported the New York Post. “We have developed discussion points on anti -Semitism and the means for volunteers to engage.”

The Jews for Zohran actively court Jewish politicians such as the Brad Lander controller and the Democratic representative of New York Jerry Nadler to support Mamdani, while trying to swing other eminent Jewish leaders, including the Democratic Senator of New York Chuck Schumer and the Democratic Representative of New York Dan Goldman, according to the New York Post.

Former Queens Democratic Municipal Councilor Rory Lancman called the “frightening” campaign, citing the controversial defense of Mamdani of the slogan “Globalize The Iifada”, according to the New York Post.

“The demonization of Israel leads to the demonization of Jews who support Israel, which is the overwhelming majority of American Jews,” Lancman told post. He warned the post that obtaining the approvals of Jewish officials could normalize masked anti -Semitic opinions as a political discourse.

Singham Goodwin is the niece of the Marxist billionaire Neville “Roy” Singham, who moved to Shanghai after having sold his ThoughtWorks software company for $ 785 million in 2017 and has since banned bank groups with the agenda of Beijing, post.

Singham Goodwin’s mother Shanti Singham is Roy Singham’s sister and is a leadership role at the China East China University. She promoted the Confucius institutes, which were criticized to spread the influence of the Chinese government.

Alicia’s father, Daniel Goodwin, worked as a lawyer and director of ThoughtWorks. The Republicans of the Chamber sought to question him about possible links with groups involved in demonstrations against the application of immigration to Los Angeles, the position reported.

Singham Goodwin herself is linked to other radical left-wing organizations, such as Pink Code, founded by her uncle’s wife, Jodie Evans, reported the position.
