YouTuber Adam ‘the Woo’ Williams found dead in Fla. home

YouTuber Adam “the Woo” Williams was found dead in his Florida home. He was 51 years old.
The body of the Internet star, who had more than 1.1 million followers between his accounts TheDailyWoo and adamthewoo, was discovered at 2:53 p.m. Monday at his residence in Celebration, Florida, during a sudden death call, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to the Daily News. TMZ was the first to report the news.
OCSO first went to the “secure” residence for a welfare check at 12:24 p.m., but was unable to make contact with the adult male living there.
They returned to the house after “a friend borrowed a ladder and looked out a third-story window to see a man on a bed who was not moving.” This friend had seen Williams alive the day before.
Williams was reported dead at the scene, with his cause of death pending an autopsy. Williams’ father, who lives nearby, was informed of his death.
“Devastated” YouTuber Justin Scarred said in a Facebook post that the loss of Williams “breaks my heart.”
“The world has lost a giant and I have lost a friend closer to me than blood. We have lost Adam. I loved this man with all my heart and I don’t know what to do or what to say,” Scarred continued. “Please pray for his parents Jim and June and his sister Faith. He had so many wonderful friends and knew he was loved.”
Scarred remembered Williams as “a wonderful person, a true friend to me whenever I needed him” and said he “genuinely [doesn’t] I know what to do without him.
Williams’ friend Chris Yon, who spent time with him last week, said on Instagram that he was “absolutely devastated to learn of the sudden passing of my good friend Adam The Woo.”
Yon, who is “completely in shock,” said Williams expressed “excitement about upcoming projects on her YouTube channel” and a match they planned to attend next year.
