Letters to Sports: Folks are singing the Dodger blues

Lately, while watching the dodgers play, defeats from the sequence and everything, I remember something that the great Benoit Benjamin said: “Bad team, guy. Mad. [bleeping] team.”

The signature of Tanner Scott closer will be the worst in the history of Dodgers. It is even worse than the signing of the Voltiger Michael Comforto. Scott has already blown six stops, has two defeats and has an ERA rampant up to 4.00. He is the third aid launcher paid in history. What makes his signature worse than that of Comforto is the fact that the dodgers are stuck with him for four seasons.

After beating cupcakes – Colorado, Kansas City, Chicago White Sox – In the nine previous games, the Houston Astros came in town and showed Dodgers how a good team plays. Even more disturbing was the continuous management of the Dave Roberts manager of his pitch staff. In addition to his inept hole decisions, Roberts actually sought to have the pinch of Michael Comforto with a low strike on Saturday.
Roberts is too inclined to give up matches when his team is late by allowing clearly ineffective launchers to stay on the mound. Enough already. Replace Roberts with a manager who really understands the nuances of the game. With their prodigious talent, the dodgers should not be swept in a series. And they should certainly not be preceded 29-6 on three games.

Ten races in six games! It must be a new hollow for dodgers. Although Shohei Ohtani directs the League in Home Runs, he is not even in the top 10 produced points. This is what just struck him. It makes no sense. Has one of the big home run strikers already hit the head?

Regarding “he swings (ohtani) to recover his balance”. And Mookie Betts? Its offensive production is well extinguished because it has moved to the more physically demanding position of the curl stop. Why not put Mookie back on the right field (where he won several gold gloves) to bring his offensive production to his noble standards? Play Tommy Edmon at the Cop stop, Hyeseong Kim in the second, with Miguel Rojas as a backup. Now you have three big arms in the outside field while improving defense on the ground. Just a thought.

The Bat of Mookie Betts has suffered since he had a hard time adapting to the stop game. It is time to bring him back in the right field, where he will be more comfortable on the ground and on the plate.

Can you bear another letter on the controversy Sandy Koufax-Clayton Kershaw? Koufax launched with an arthritis wing which he dipped in ice for hours after each match. He had no 21st century medical technology, which could have extended his career.

Bond on the james
Do you work in a false idea that there is somewhere a fan club of Bronny James?
You seem to work it in each story, whether or not it plays. In the history of the Lakers’ victory against the Spurs on Tuesday, you rightly credited Darius Bazley for having led the team with 27 points, with Dalton Knecht, adding 25.
Then you felt the need to add: “Bronny James, still working to accelerate his packaging, played a little more than five minutes and scored two points.” Who cares? Apart from his parents, who presumes demanding statistics on a bench global warmer?

A week after having signed an option of $ 52 million for next season, LeBron James still has the acronym for goat, only the descriptor has changed slightly: the most gourmet of all time.

Speak like a winner
I appreciated the article by Broderick Turner on Deandre Ayton coming to the Lakers. I really liked Ayton at the start of his career. I thought that Ayton had a lot of potential. I hope that LeBron James and Luka Doncic, with their assistance skills, will be able to release this potential from Ayton this season. I liked that during Turner’s article, Ayton was cited 15 times using “Win” as part of a word, like “Wins”, “Gain”, “Winner”, etc. We will have to see if Ayton can convert his words to acts and be a winner for Lakers this season.

Practice the square
Thank you for the article on the acting director of the angels Ron Montgomery. I have a little advice for him. Practice the bruant. There are a bunch of matches that the angels have lost in additional sleeves because they (with most other major leagues teams) do not pass the second goal player until third place without withdrawal. So much easier to mark a race if the runner is on the third basis.

The title says everything
The USC has eliminated the position of executive superior associate sports director. The fact that a position with such a convoluted title was even indicated to you everything you need to know about the administrative bloating of the Trojan Horses Sports Department.
