In a video published on X (formerly Twitter), Hamilton talked about what films as a art form have meant for him.

“I always liked the film. Much of my life was inspired by things I saw in the films,” said Hamilton in social media video.

“Whether it’s clothes, whether it was just stories that have just raised, that have spent difficult moments. And then this opportunity arose, I jumped on it.”

The seven times world champion has also developed the process of making films itself, crediting Apple Films for the supply of high-tech equipment.

“To obtain it authentic, to obtain technology, to obtain this real live action experience, there is only one company that could get there. It would not have been possible without Apple,” added Hamilton in the video.

“Apple has always been at the intersection of the arts and liberal technology. It is wonderful to be part of the broadcast of the world. You have really contributed a lot too. I mean, you can say from the film how authentic.

“To bring people to feel what we feel in the car, as close as possible, we needed this technology and we needed this camera.”

“And we were able to use Apple’s incredible team to push technology and push the limits of the camera. And they created these new cameras.”

Hamilton’s role in making the film was to guide him in a feeling of realism.

He pleaded for Idris and Pitt to take time while driving racing cars on different tracks – in the hope of adding driving techniques and realistic maneuvers.

The production team shot the film in several F1 races, and it presents cameos of pilots and teams of the 2023 season.

The film lasts a total of two hours and 36 minutes – would have cost a total of $ 200 million to produce the blockbuster.

“F1” recovered $ 10 million during the first projections and between its first weekend at the box office with high expectations due to the huge Apple marketing push.
