Lily Allen teasing ‘West End Girl’ as a play is almost too much

Lily Allen could transform West End Girl in a West End play? DO IT THIS WAY.
The artist joined Jimmy Fallon on Tonight’s show to unpack the writing of the most talked about album of the year, in which Allen talks more than dirty laundry about his open and tumultuous relationship with Stranger Things Starring David Harbour.
When Fallon mentions that the album’s runaway success led to the potential development of a play in London, Allen doesn’t reveal much but says, “It’s true.”
“Are you involved in this?” asks the host.
“I could be,” Allen said. “The ink isn’t dry, but I’m definitely having conversations with people, it’s very exciting.”
The idea of turning West End Girl To be honest, following “Pussy Palace” in a stage number is all I need to get through the day, but remembering the lyrics to “West End Girl” and a certain someone’s reaction to Allen’s previous West End success might just get me through the year.
