You can get three months of Audible’s subscription for $3

If you’re short on time to read your backlog, audiobooks might be a more convenient way to catch up. Amazon is offering a big discount on Audible Premium Plus which allows new and returning subscribers to pay $0.99 (usually $14.95) per month for three months. The subscription includes one credit per month, enough for one audiobook, and each exchange will remain in your library even if you end the service. It also includes unlimited access to the Audible Plus and Audible Original libraries, the Audible Sleep Collection, and titles from Audible’s Words + Music series.

You can listen to audiobooks in your browser, through a Kindle with connected Bluetooth headphones, or through the Audible app on your smartphone or tablet. Audible syncs your progress between devices, so you can start a book on your phone and continue on your Kindle later without having trouble picking up where you left off. It’s worth noting that many titles in the Audible Plus, Original, Sleep Collection, and Words + Music collections cannot be purchased outside of the subscription, so be sure to take advantage of your access to check them out. You can also subscribe and listen to podcasts through the Audible app if you prefer to have all your spoken content in one app.

The deal is available until December 17 at 2:59 a.m. ET / 11:59 p.m. PT and saves you around $41 after the monthly discounts end. Your subscription will automatically renew at the original price after the three-month promotional period unless you cancel first. New subscribers can get a 30-day subscription to Audible Premium Plus from Audible, but at this price, you might as well commit for three months and reap the rewards of audiobook credits.
