On the road to the national final
Wareham filled its regular season schedule with Division I teams like Bishop Feehan, New Bedford, Brockton and Taunton and Div. 2 power St. Mary’s.
After finishing the regular season with a 16-5 record, the No. 1 Vikings won their four playoff games against No. 32 Tech Boston Academy, No. 17 South Hadley, No. 8 Wahconah Regional and No. 4 West Bridgewater by an average of 18.5 points per game.

After opening the regular season with a 4-4 record, Georgetown won 11 of its next 12 games to take a 15-5 record into the playoffs and claim third place.

The defending division. The Royals, 4 state champions, beat their first two playoff opponents – No. 30 Carver and No. 14 Sutton – by an average of 30 points per game. They posted a 66-63 victory over sixth-seeded Blue Hills in the Elite 8 and won a 53-51 thriller over No. 2 Millbury in the state semifinals.
