Liverpool star STAYING after massive change of plan

Liverpool will almost certainly keep a star after a massive change of plans. The Reds had to tear things up.

Liverpool had a plan for their defense this season. This plan is now in tatters after two moments went in the wrong direction for the Reds.

First, they were supposed to add Marc Guehi to their group. Above everything has been done for the agreement, expect a formal green light from Crystal Palace.

The Eagles withdrew from the agreement at the last minute, ending this idea for Liverpool. They could See you for Guehi in January, but things are now much more difficult when it comes into the last six months of his contract.

So, with Guehi out of the table for the moment, Liverpool has planned to see the season with Virgil Van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez and Giovanni Leoni. This plan is now also carried out.

Leoni’s serious knee injury will keep it long -term. Potentially for the whole season, with Arne Slot saying that he will miss a year.

Liverpool therefore had a massive change of plans in the last month. Enough for it to force a star to stay.

Joe Gomez’s future of Liverpool

Gomez was supposed to leave Liverpool in August, with a firmly aligned AC Milan move. However, the fact that Liverpool did not sign Guehi canceled the agreement – however, the Italians maintained a contract and hope to seal it in January.

Now we don’t see how it is possible. Gomez is now more Important that it was not in August after Leoni’s injury.

There is no longer an obvious replacement either, because it is likely that Guehi sees his palace contract to become a free agent in summer. But even if Liverpool had signed the palace captain, it would be replacing Leoni in the team – not Gomez.

And so the only way we see an agreement to occur so that Gomez Parte is if two central defenders arrive in January. It is certainly not impossible, but it seems very improbable.

Especially if Guehi sees his contract. Liverpool would then need an arrival to replace Leoni in the team, then another to replace Gomez – surely eliminating all luck that Guehi also joins in summer.

Unless, of course, the Konate leaves with the end of her contract. Maybe that opens the door in summer?

But since things are, it is incredibly difficult to see how Gomez is allowed to leave. He looks intended to stay at least for the season while Liverpool tries to understand their central situation.
