Los Angeles Lakers’ JJ Redick Sends Clear Message to Bronny James
The Los Angeles Lakers will be an interesting team to watch in the next NBA 2025-26 season. With Luka Donnteic and LeBron James who always open the way, they hope that a championship race could be possible.
Another name that deserves to be kept close is Bonny James.
Before his second NBA season, no one knows what to expect. He has not played much as a recruit, but he has shown a certain development. However, he still has a lot of work to do.

JJ Redick, the Lakers head coach, spoke with a sharp message to James. He shared something that the young guard had to have a chance to become a quality NBA player.
“The greatest thing for Bonny is that he has to get in a elite,” said Redick. “It’s the entrance barrier for him right now. And if he does it, I think he’s lucky to be a really fantastic player in the NBA.”
Not long ago, James talked about what he feels that he has to go to make his way on the ground. He believes that it will start on the defensive side of the courtyard.
“There will be guys who can score 15, 20 per game,” said James. “I’m probably not going to be this guy right now … I have to be a defensive threat.”
He also opened and shared how he goes from the health point of view. After taking cardiac arrest at university, James still feel persistent effects.
“I’m becoming easier now,” said James. “Which is a little weird, but I think it has spoiled a little with my immune system. So I would have times when I have to sit down, and this packaging on which I work disappears in this week of my release.”

With Redick giving James a clear objective, he will have to work on his packaging. If he can take the best form of his life and become an elite defender, Los Angeles may have no choice but to play it.
It will be interesting to see what year two years in reserve Les Lakers and James. Maybe he will have a much more important opportunity to play, or it could be another quiet season for the son of one of the best players of all time in the NBA.
