Sunday, Luka Dončić’s Slovenia propelled Slovenia to an 86-69 victory against Belgium and its first victory at this year’s Eurobasket.
Dončić scored 26 points, collected 11 assists and caught 10 rebounds in Katowice, Poland. It was only the fourth triple-double in Eurobasket since 1995.
The Los Angeles Lakers star has also become the youngest player (26 years and 184 days) to reach 400 Euro-Basse points from Tony Parker in 2007 (25 years, 122 days).

The group phase of 24 teams is played in four different countries. The top four teams in each group will go to the direct elimination phase, which begins on September 6. Against Georgia, Antetokounmpo also took eight rebounds, harvested four assists and swept two interceptions in Cyprus.
Greece is at the top of group C with six points, but it was necessary to wait for the subsequent games of the day to see if they pick up a place in the round of 16.
