Luka Dončić stays in Los Angeles. The quintuple goalkeeper All-NBA accepted a maximum contract extension of $ 165 million over three years with the Lakers, ESPN reported on Saturday. The agreement includes a player option for the 2028-2029 season and replaces its previous contract, which included a player option for 2026–27.
Dončić, 26, now avoids the free agency next summer and is positioned for an even greater agreement in 2028, while it would be eligible for a contract planned over five years of $ 417 million with a value of 35% of the salary ceiling.
