Lynx veteran named All-Star replacement over 3 other potential snubs

Minnesota Lynx striker Kayla McBride will once again be an All-Star of the WNBA. The 33 -year -old elite shooter, who previously won four stars appearances, was not initially selected as a reserve by coaches.
But, the WNBA announced Tuesday that it was chosen to replace by Commissioner Cathy Engelebert after the dream guard Rhyne Howard was excluded from the game for the rest of the month after having undergone a knee injury last week. As such, McBride will join Team Collier.
This season, McBride has an average of 14.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game and helped the Lynx to a record of 19-4 of the League.
Now she joins two Lynx teammates – the defensive player of the year of last year Napheesa Collier and the leader Courtney Williams – in the star match on Saturday.

McBride was finally selected on several other candidates who had also been launched by the media and fans as potential snobs, notably the Washington Mystic Guardian Brittney Sykes, the dream center of Atlanta Brionna Jones and the center of Los Angeles Sparks Azura Stevens.
At 31, Sykes was never an All-Star but seemed to be at the dawn of a selection this season. It has an average of 17.6 points, 4.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds. His points and help scoring career heights. She also draws 34% out of three, the second best note in her career.
Brionna Jones is on average 13.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists while anchoring the defense of the dream, while Stevens is on average 14.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.5 interceptions. Jones is an All-Star three times, while Stevens, 29, has not yet been appointed All-Star.
