Deposed dictator and puppet Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores have landed outside New York at Stewart Airport to face trial on terrorism and other charges. As RedState reported earlier, Maduro and his wife were captured early Saturday morning, in a joint strike by the U.S. military and law enforcement. They were apprehended, taken into custody and flown to the United States aboard a United States Department of Justice 757 aircraft.

Maduro and his wife were indicted at the SDNY, says Bondi: here are the charges


As RedState also reported, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced indictments in the Southern District of New York against Maduro and Flores for narcoterrorist conspiracy, conspiracy to import cocaine, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices against the United States.

Maduro and Flores are expected to be arraigned on Monday. RedState will continue to update information as it emerges on this developing story.
