magicpin aims to grow its active user base to 20 million in 2026 with food delivery as the main growth driver, the hyperlocal platform’s CEO and founder Anshoo Sharma said on Sunday.

The company crossed 15 million active users last year across various categories, including e-commerce, ticketing and food delivery, and is focusing on the value-conscious segment to further expand its food delivery vertical, Sharma told PTI in an interview.

“Our goal is to create value-conscious food delivery users who order frequently and habitually engage. We aim to increase our active user base to 20 million in 2026, with food delivery being a key growth driver, especially among students and new job seekers,” Sharma said.

The majority of the platform’s 15 million active users belong to the value-conscious segment in major Indian cities, in the age group of 18-35 years. Food delivery continues to be the key growth driver, supported by a larger number of repeat users and an increase in cross-category transactions, magicpin CEO and founder Sharma said, adding that the platform’s average food delivery order value is currently Rs 300.

He observed that India’s consumer economy is increasingly moving towards value-driven habitual spending, particularly in food delivery to students and working professionals.
