‘Make Iran Great Again’ demonstrators in NYC say war is worth the price

A group of Iranian-Americans believe freedom may finally be at hand. They threw flowers in front of the Israeli Consulate and thanked President Trump and the American military for striking their homeland.
Despite civilian casualties of wars in this campaign, the organizer of the ‘Make Iran Great Again’ rally says it is worth the price.
“The last time I spoke to my mom, she said the bombs are scary, but the regime is scarier. Every bomb drop in Iran, they’re cheering for it,” said organizer Reza Ebrahim,
“This is a rescue of the country of the Iranian poeple. 90 million of them. They’ve been all the hostage,” said demonstrator Abby Laura.
Earlier in the day, there was another rally outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art on 5th Avenue with the same passion and sense of gratefulness.
While demonstrators hope a freedom rises from the ashes of the Ayatollah, at this tense moment in history, oil prices are rising, trading at more than 100 dollars a barrel to start the week. That is the highest since July of 2022 when President Biden was in office.
“This is short-term pain to get through to a much better place where the Middle East can no longer be held hostage by the one rogue nation in Iran,” said Energy Secretary Chris Wright.
It is more than six thousand miles from Tehran to New York City. Those locally are tracking events back home as best as they can while demanding democracy for Iran’s future.
