Man United delay Rashford, Antony, Garnacho training returns – sources

Manchester United told five players, including Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, to delay their return to training to allow them more time to find club movements, said in ESPN.

Rashford, Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia all informed the club’s bosses they want to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Ruben Amorim’s team must be back in Carrington on Monday. However, the five players obtained an extended break to organize transfers.

Sources have told ESPN that they had been told to report later in July if the movements do not materialize. In the meantime, they will have access to medical and rehabilitation installations as well as to distance support.

Amorim wants a “cohesive team” which is “fully focused on the protest for the greatest honors with Manchester United”, said sources in ESPN.

Rashford has also been informed that he will have to abandon his shirt No. 10 to the new signature of Matheus Cunha. The England striker has not presented for United since December and spent the second half of last season on loan to Aston Villa.

Antony and Malacia both left UNITED in progress in January in Real Betis and PSV Eindhoven, respectively. Sancho was ready for Chelsea for the majority of the campaign, but decided not to move permanent.

United played their first summer friendly against Leeds United in Stockholm on July 19 before going to Chicago for a three game tour in the United States.
