Marcus Freeman explains how Notre Dame can ‘take pressure off’ of CJ Carr in first start

Our Lady QB CJ Carr has just started his first match for the Fighting Irish with their first match in Miami Having started from Coral Gables. However, in the first beginning of his career, Marcus Freeman does not expect him more than being himself.
Before the opening kick, Freeman spoke with Molly McGrath of ESPN on the way his team could facilitate the task of their first year on the quarter. He said it would be a team effort to do things around him to help him. But, too, Freeman wants Carr to play in himself and, in the end, it would be enough for the Irish to win this evening on the Hurricanes.
“Yeah, we have to remove pressure from him,” said Freeman. “We must be able to establish the racing game, or give it easy access to it. I had to play a very good defense. ”
“You know, what I told him? His best is good enough. As, go ahead, guy. He’s a special player,” added Freeman. “And, you don’t have to win the game for us. Just do your job.”
On the ground, Mario Cristobal was asked how, in turn, Miami would defend the young quarter of Carr. He expects their attack to be well managed by him and around him, which will make him a great task this evening for the defense of the Hurricanes.
“He has a lot of weapons around him and they are very systematic,” said Cristobal on the other side. “We only expect their best, so we have to be our best.”
From the last of the Hard Rock stadium, Carr has a 4-6 sheet (66.6%) for 32 yards after their first training. However, it lasted seven games before the Irish had to end this first possession, with his second journey on the verge of starting after a defense against the canes.
